4 x Olympian and UK Athletics Equality, Diversity & Engagement Lead; Domestic Athletics Operations Manager

Donna is a former sprinter, who competed at four consecutive Olympic Games for Great Britain and has developed a wealth of experience within the field of equality and diversity communications since her retirement from competitive athletics in 2009. Amidst that exemplar performance and professional development, Donna has also had to fight and survive breast cancer…it didn’t stop her achieving qualifying times for the 2012 Games!

Apart from her role at UK Athletics as their Equality, Diversity & Engagement Lead, Donna continues to be active in many advisory positions and spends much of her time ‘giving back’ to the community she served as a Team GB athlete. In 2018 she won the ‘Outstanding Woman in Sport’ Award at the Precious Awards and was subsequently entered into the Empower Ethnic Minority Role Model Lists 2019 & 2020.

Donna was made an OBE for services to equality, inclusion and diversity in the workplace in the New Year's Honours List 2021.
