Leadership, Culture and d&i
We seek to continually improve the integration of wellbeing with related disciplines of organisational psychology, behavioural science and performance management. An important part of our approach is to apply the neuroscience of ‘psychological safety’ to cultural and leadership development. Psychological safety is not only critical to the successful development of equality, diversity and inclusion policies but also to creative problem-solving attitudes, discretionary effort and high engagement.
More and more clients are moving from occasional interventions towards integrating wellbeing into organisational culture. It becomes a foundational platform from which to engage management and staff with sustainable performance and improved wellbeing.
Our services are solutions to the challenges clients recognise as important for wellbeing, performance and productivity. These services go to the root of the challenges by establishing individual/team resilience and, therefore, the capacity for a business to adapt to change. This capacity to adapt to change is something which can be trained or, in the wrong culture, something which can become depleted.
Our holistic approach connects culture, leadership, wellbeing and sustainable success. The power of our approach comes from building connections between individual needs and how we relate to each other and our organization – improved communication, listening and collaboration, together align our sense of purpose with those we work with.
When our clients recognise the need to address challenges, we offer a suite of interventions with tools to reset and refresh individuals, teams policies and leadership.
If we don’t have the resources we need to meet the challenge we face, this creates a sense of threat that interferes with our ability to learn, think creatively and take care of ourselves. Our approach builds the confidence to grow in the way that is right for your culture and the challenges you face.
Our team includes people who have specialised in the preparation for high performance in very high stress and highly visible situations…where there are no hiding places. It is critically important for such challenges to be perceived as opportunities for growth and success and not as threats. They include performance support specialists for Team GB in the build up and attendance of 6 Olympic Games and 4 Rugby World Cups. It also includes those who have performed as professional sportspeople in such tournaments. Preparation for success can take place over a 4 year period and attends to culture, team-building, physiological wellbeing and protection of mental health. We integrate this expertise with that from the equally high stress environment of military deployment and the compassion necessary from experienced mindfulness practitioners. It is a unique and holistic approach.
