These back care exercises will improve your health, help with injury prevention, help maintain a better posture, improve bone health and aid performance and resilience. It’s a win win!!

As with all of these exercises the key is to find the right level for you. There is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to exercise. Work through them and see how you feel...You may find that starting with one set of 10 of each exercise is enough to start with. If you’re doing a lot of sport you may need to do more to get the same benefits.

Hopefully if you’ve followed all of the videos you will now have a good base knowledge of core strength and fitness. I would keep this new routine with some daily stretches, regular core exercises 3-4 times per week and the harder exercises twice a week. Keep referring back to all the videos, there is a lot of information in them and it can be very easy to miss things the first time around.

Some frequently asked questions:

Can anyone do these exercises?

Yes! Just start with smaller reps and easier exercise

I’ve followed all the videos, do I stop now?

No, carry on with this great routine to maintain all of the benefits!

I’ve still got aches and pains, what do I do now?

These exercises won’t cure everything but they will help you get stronger. If a pain gets worse, stop the exercises and see your GP or a physiotherapist. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
